'Seven' film plot summary

Detective Somerset has seven days left before he retires, and then he will move from the city to a farm and live peacefully. He has been a homicide detective for 23 years and has seen a lot of things. He just wants to finish these seven days as eysily as possible, but that doesn´t seem to gonna happen because there has been found a body and he has to investigate it with his new partner Mills. They go and check it out, there was an extreamly fat man sitting dead on a chear with his face in a plate of spaghetti. Somerset saw that his hands and feet were tied. His name was Peter Eubanks and he had always been very heavy but not as heavy as he was when they found him. The doctor cut him open for examination and saw that he had died from eating to much and Peter also head a bruise on his head that was after a gun that was pushed very hard at him. Later that day Somerset was working in his office, then his boss came in and brought him some plastic stuff that was found in the fat mans stomache, and said it was fed to him. Somerset went back to the crimescene and went to look for somthing. He saw bits that were missing from the floor beside the fridge, he moved the fridge and saw GLUTTONY ritten with grease on the wall.The next day there was another murder, it was a famous lawyer that was murdered in his office, and there was written GREED on the floor with his blood. Somerset and Mills went to the lawyers wife to ask her some quastions, they showed her some pictures of the crimescene and asked her if there was somthing that was missing or somthing was strange, she saw that one picture was upside down. They went back to the crimescene to check it out they sae nothing strange with the picture but Somerset tried to find some fingerprints on the wall were the picture was hanging, he put some black powder on the wall and saw that there was written ´´help me´´ in fingerprints. Somerset and Mills went to check whos those fingerprints were. They belonged to Viktor and they had no idea who it was. They went to his apartment along with the SWAT team. They found him in his bed,It had been written on the wall SLOTH. It looked like he was dead, his hand had been taken of and he looked like a corp. One of the SWAT member had a flashlight pointed to his Viktors face and all of the sudden he coughed or somthing, he was alive. They called an ambulance. At the crimescene they found pictuers that had bin taken of Viktor over a year ago and all to the day today. They figured that somone was messing around with them and he had used Viktors to Write ´´ help me´´ on the wall. When they were going out of his apartment there was somone that was taking pictures of them, Mills was wery angry and told him to get out of there. Somerset figured that the murderer was copying the seven sins that are greed, gluttony, wrath, envy, sloth, pride and lust. Somerset knew a man that could show them who had taken what book from the library, they were looking for a man that had taken a book about the seven sins. They found a man on the list that had taken a book about the seven sins, his name was John Doe. Somerset and Mills went to his apartment but he wasn´t at home but when they were about to go they saw a man that was walking towards the apartment. John Doe saw the and started shooting and then he ran away, Mills chased him all over the building and outside the building, John ran into an alley and Mills followed him but he didn´t see him. John came out of nowhere and hit Mills in the head with the gun and then he ran away, Somerset came when John was gone. They went back to Johns apartment, Mills was very pissed and was gonna go in to the apartment but Somerset told him not to because they had no warrent and they had gotten the imformation about where he lived illigally. But Mills didn´t listen and kicked the door open, Mills found a room with alot of photos and he saw photos of him and Somerset, they had seen the murderer before, it was the photgrapher that was trying to take pictures of them when they were investigating a case. The next day there was another murder, a blonde prostidude had been murdered. On the crimescene they saw that there had been written LUST. They didn´t know where John could be they had nothing that could link them to were he was. But the next day all of the sudden he came into the police station and turned him selfe in. He wanted to speak to his lawyer. He told his lawyer that he had killed two more people and he wanted to go with Somerset and Mills and only them to show them where the bodies are or he would claim that he did all this because he was insane. Somerset and Mills agreed to go with him.The next day they went with him to find the bodies. They got to a place somwhere outside the city where there were no houses of nothing, John told them to stop. They got out of the car and started walking to the spot that John said that the bodies were at, when they had walked a while a delivery van came, Somerset ran to the van to check it out. It was just a regular delivery man and he said that had to deliver a package here to Mills, Somerset took the package and told the guy to go back,he had figured out that there were no bodies. While Somerset was checking out the van john had said to Mills that he had gone to his wife and killed her and taken her head for a souvineer, Mills was very angry but he didn´t belive him at first. Somerset opend the package and saw his girlfriends head in there, he ran towards Mills and John, ´´Mills put down the gun´´ he shouted, John said to Mills I ENVY you, I guess that is my sin, become a WRATH he said. Somerset said don´t do it he wants you to kill him. Mills was so angry that he had killed his wife so he shot John in the head.
