Malala Yousafzai og Nelson Mandela: frihedskæmpere

Malala was once just a little girl in the middle east, that was not really known by anybody, until there was an interview made about her. At that time she got some attention from the Taliban, was quickly shot in the head and somehow managed to survive. That’s when she had her breakthrough and became an extremely known girl. She made her voice heard worldwide, and has become a spokesman for the United Nations. In my eyes, she’s definitely a notable and honorable freedom fighter. Not only Malala fought for herself, but fought for all girl’s rights for education. She’s known for her quote “One child, one teacher, one pen, one book, can change the world.”. It’s something that you can relate to. She is basically mentioning the key-components for a child to learn the basics, and get the most out of their education. Malala is also known for her courage, you could call her a . A quote from another successful freedom fighter goes like this.. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” which is from Nelson Mandela, which brings me onto Nelson. Malala is also close to the same age as ourselves, so we can easily relate to something.
