Brev om at forfølge en balletdrøm i Paris

I have thought about this for months now, and I know it’s for the best. You might not understand my decision right away, although I hope you will, I don’t expect you to.

I’m leaving for France, you are probably wondering, “what’s in France?” if you have ever listened to what I have talked to you about, you would know that I have a huge passion for ballet. Well, I got an offer for a full scholarship at the Ballet School of Opera national de Paris. This is a huge opportunity for me, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I hope that in time, you will forgive me, and stop being mad at me.

The main reason why I didn’t tell you about the offer was because I knew you would stop me from pursuing my dream, a dream I have had since I was a little girl.

I want to experience the world and see it with a more positive perspective. All my life I have felt like I was trapped in a cage, and I thought I would never get out. Now I’m free, and I’m already happier than I have ever been.

My friend [NAVN B] lent me some money, it wasn’t a lot, but it was enough. I’ll look for a job as soon as I’m settled in, and pay him back.
