I think that it’s really important to hear about the relationship between teenagers and adults from another point of view. From a teenager. You can’t build a story from only on side of it. I would describe a relationship between Teenagers and parents as complicated. It’s different from home to home. You can’t avoid the fights, because either the parents will bring something up or the teenagers will. This is only my opinion, so maybe more or less people will disagree.

My own relationship with my parents is not anything I’m proud of. We fight almost every day. Usually something silly, but it ends up being much bigger than it is. I hate the conflicts, neither I can avoid them. I can’t make them go away. It feels like it has ended up being a daily routine of ours. I know the reason of why we fight. I do not listen to them mostly. I think that they are to strict and that’s why.

As we grow from being a child to being a teenager our relationship with our parents change a lot. From when we get born to the age of 13, we were with our parents all the time. We couldn’t make it without them. As soon as we get to the point, where we can do things on our own, we feel like we don’t need our parents anymore. It’s that time in life, were we only want to spend time with friends. It’s seems quiet understandable. We just want to explore life without our parents.
