David Gale was a very popular professor at the university in Texas.
In his leisure he worked voluntarily to eliminate the death penalty in Texas, because he meant, it was unfair for the innocent people who were sentenced to death for no reason.
David’s life was good and the future looked bright for the family until that day when David became sentenced to death for killing his colleague and friend Constance, then he ended at the same death row as he has fought for to eliminate.
Three days before Gale became sentenced to death he summoned the reporter Bitsy Bloom because he wanted to tell his whole story and to prove that he didn´t killed Constance. Bitsy was race against the time, because she should show all her evidence to prove it not was Gale.
Gale’s life burned down when he became sentenced to dead, because he would miss all he had.
I think Gale acted well, because he couldn’t do anything he should just respect his sentence and respect that he would and should miss everything in his life.
For me, this movie evidenced how unfair and terrible the life can be - and death penalty, because Gale missed all what he had and he was suddenly alone, none wanted to see him again because they thought he was a murderer.
