A Day Of Exploration

I was really looking forward to something very different and new. I had the maps and my own personal ’suvivial kit’- lots of chocolate and a drink and, of course, my phone to record my new discoveries.

I finally arrived at my destination. Chicago Airport. I had been waiting on this day to come for as long as i could remember, and i was finally there. I had always dreamt of going to Chicago, mostly because i had heard so many lovely things about this city, but also about how its always full of life and joy. I was visiting my Grandparents who lives in Central Chicago, where i was living those couple of days. The truth is, i have never actually traveled before in my life, which most people would find unusual, but in my family, we have never had the profit to travel far. I decided to skip public transport, because of my huge pile of luggage. A kind man lead me to a spot, where i could get a cab home to my Granny and Grandpa. I got so amazed as we drove through the streets of Chicago, the interesting people and of course the busy crowd that takes over and violates the wonder and beauty of the city. As we arrived to my Grandparents, i was so thrilled to see them. I told my Granny that i was very tired, and just wanted to go to bed, since i wanted to be re- energised for tomorrow. I fell afsleep very quickly that night, after a long and tiring day.
