Yesterday I visited Joel Davis to surprise him, and tell him about his nomination. Joel is sitting next to me smiling, and having a great time, I have just told him about his nomination he is very happy. But he wasn’t always this happy. Joel had a rough childhood, his mother was an addict and he didn’t know his father. His family was poor, and they were always in debt, because his mother needed her drugs. He struggled in school and were always bullied because he couldn’t read, the teacher ignored the bullying and didn’t help him at all, he was very sad. His mother also got a very abusive boyfriend who punched and beat his mother, and him.
