Everyone thought that it was a totally normal tuesday in april 1999. But guess aging. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris had been planning a school shooting. 12 students and 1 teacher were killed. And injured 21 other students. Both committed suicide in the library at the school.
That's just one out of hundred school shootings in the US. But why? Do they need attention? Maybe they’ve been bullied in high school and they want revenge? Or are they just evil and crazy? No matter what is it not okay. I don’t understand how you can think “yes. Today I'm going to the school with Eric and shoot a lot of students”. That's insane. But how do they get guns and bullets? Did they steal them? Bought them? It’s actually legal to have guns at home in the US. But i don’t understand why? Every week I hear in the news that a mother are dead because her baby found her gun and shot her. Maybe that’s why there's so many school shootings in the US. Over ten thousand Americans get killed every year because of gun shooting. I read online that 36 people dies every day. And guess how? Guns. So i don’t like the idea that everyone just can get a gun. And I don’t understand how people can love that idea so much. Yay we can protect ourselves because we have guns. That’s make no sense. I live in Denmark and in Denmark it’s illegal to carry weapons. And we can still protect ourselves. There is a law in America that says you have to be 21 years old to buy alcohol, but only 18 years old to buy and own a firearm. Of Course there are a lot of younger kids how own’s a gun.
