Twiggy: model, ikon og modeforandrer

I would like to write about Twiggy because I want to know what was so interesting about her. Why everyone thinks of Twiggy, when people are saying the word model.

I also want to write about Twiggy because I want to know what she is doing after her career as a model.

Twiggy was born the 19. September 1949. Her name was Lesley Hornby. She got the nickname Twiggy because she was so thin. In high school people called her sticks but after high school she got the famous nickname Twiggy.

Twiggy was the first supermodel back in the sixties. She dropped out of high school in an age of 15 and started her career as a 16 years old girl in London. She left everything behind her to be a model. She was the first model who was thin.

Twiggy has always liked fashion. She is known for her boyish look because of her short hair and her big eyes.

Twiggy had her career breakthrough when she was named the face of 1966 by the Dailey Express newspaper.

The model girls before Twiggy were in normal weight and form with curves. That is one of the huge reasons why people say that she changed the fashion world.
