Rosa Parks About Rosa Parks Rosa Parks was an Afro-American civil right activist. She was born in Tuskegee, Alabama in 1913 on February the 4th. Once Rosa Parks were in Montgomery, Alabama, she were using the bus in the city and she sat on a white man’s chair, the man said to her that she could not sit there because it was a white people only and black people had to stand in the back of the bus.
