Hello. First of all, I want to thank you all for being here. It means a lot to mean that you want to hear what I have to say.

I want to talk about the American dream and how it has changed over time. There are a lot of different perceptions of the American dream. Some people think it is an amazing thing and that they really want to live by it. But some are thinking it is a complete nightmare. Why are there such different perceptions of the American dream? Maybe because the people who actually want to live by it are people who actually can achieve it. And the people who hate the American dream are people who are not rich enough or well-established enough, so the American dream does not suit them (logos).

Sasha Monroe is a Black American who are against the American dream. She does not think that the American dream is desirable. She does not think that because she thinks it is all about low wages, unaffordable housing, restricted healthcare, and racism. She wants to move away from America and move to a country that apricates everybody like they are. And she knows she is not the only one who fells this way. There is an article that says, “7000 Americans applied for permanent residency in Canada” and that number is rising. Sasha Monroe and a lot of other people does not feel welcome in their own country.
