Joel Davis wins “Young People of the Year” Joel Davis and his way through life

teachers wanted, was to go home. And Joel literally said to me; “When the teachers get free, and school is over, now one want’s to help. If they don't get paid, they don't care about if someone needs help. They are just stupid.” So he decided to start a tutoring service Joel Davis won yesterday the “Young People of the Year” award. I got the pleasure to interview him at the afterparty ,and wan’t to share with all you other young people, what a nice and kind boy he is. Joel Davis lives in Islington, London. He is born 1995 and is raised in a poor family. He lives alone with his father, and his sick mother, so no siblings. They couldn’t afford the medicine that his mother needed, and his father worked all day, so Joel was the only one who had the time to take care of her. He decided therefore to start on a medical school, were he beside all the basics, could learn, how to make the medicine himself with help from herbs and plants. It actually worked. He was able to hold his mother alive. But beside all the sick mother thing, he struggled with things himself. He couldn't read very well at school, and he was not good with numbers in math. But when he went for help after school, no one would use their time to help him, cause all the with Homework Help, where more than 170 children get help from university students and poor children are able to achieve higher grades. That is what he got nominated for and made him win the award. Joel’s idea is now copied by others because he has set up a website, so the idea could get spread to others. I think that this is one of the bravest things someone has ever done. Even though he had struggles both in school and at home, he never gave up. He never lost hope, and he has now achieved to help other children with struggles. Wow, this guy is just amazing !!! I promised him, that if I published an article about him, i would write the one sentence that his life its based on; “Never give up and never lose hope”. I just love this guy. He's an inspiring young man with great skills, that wants the best for everyone.
