I checked they sky for a sign of rain ‘’no need for a umbrella’’ I said to myself. My suitcase was always packed with the most necessary, a piece of fruit a bottle of water and my paper. I walked out on the streets between the tall buildings of New York. My apartment was right next to Central Park, the big green spot in the city of dreams or at least the city of gasoline. But anyway I was about to pas the hotdog-stand, it was the same place he stood every day. As I passed him and smelled the low prised cheap food of New York I bumped into something on my way ‘’ouch’’ I looked down and saw a little girl with the wildest fire-red hair I’ve, ever seen her face was covered in freckles an she whore a red hoodie with a blue denim skirt and some pink glowing shoes. ‘’uh sorry’’ I said ‘’I didn’t see you there’’. ‘’Its okay, it’s not the first time that happened’’ she said with a smile so I could see all her missing teeth, ‘’well ah I better get going’’ I said and began walked ‘’wait for me’’ she said ‘’can you please help me’’. ‘‘What do you need help for’’ I asked ‘’do you know where Mrs Trixie’s orphanage is, you know the pink building with the yellow stars’’. She said, I stopped up and asked her ‘’Mrs what’s what’’, ‘’Mrs Trixie’s orphanage’’ she said ‘’I’m sorry kiddo I don’t think there’s an orphanage in the middle of New York. Maybe ask an police officer or something I cant help you’’ I said to her as I walked into the big glass building also know as the business building. Somehow Time went flying today and suddenly it was 5.pm, I rushed out of the building out to the dirty street’s, and there she stood the little red-haired girl ‘’you scared me’’ I said ‘’I’m sorry I didn’t mean to’’ she said ‘’ how long have you been out here’’ I asked her ‘’since you left for work’’ she said ‘’but that was like 7 hours and fifteen minutes ago’’ I said as I checked my clock. ‘’yeah I know’’ she said but what have you been doing out here ‘’well I found five dollars and I bought a hotdog, then there was a dog an I stayed and played with that for a while, sooo you know’’ she said ‘’c’mon we got to get you back there’s an officer over here I think’’ I said ‘’so it’s time for me to get back, then remember one thing Always be happy’’ I looked back. And she was gone. I learned something today ‘’if a parentless little girl comes up to you follow her advise, it will lead you to something great’’. By the end off the day I felt very confused and happy at the same time like something great was going to happen.
