Analytical Essay: “Food Stamp” (2006) The essay “Food Stamp” was written by Anna Green, and published by Prescott College in the collection magazine: Alligator Juniper, in January 2006, and have received Pushcart Prize. In this essay we hear about our narrator, Lucy, whom is the mother of the 9-year-old girl, Katrina. They live at Lucy’s alcoholic, larcenous father, who has no problem in stealing from her. They’re not the most affluent people, so Lucy and her daughter lives on food stamps worth of approximately 260$, a month. The food stamps are mostly what they feed of, since Lucy is unemployed,
