Hallo youth magazine I've just read one of the most interesting article in my monthly newspaper. It's about how we can get the youth to think more about what they put in their body's, and how changing our food habits to be more environmentally friendly.Tesco is a well known supermarket chain there are working together with a company called Farm to fork. Farm to fork is all about how we can change the mind of the next generation, to think about what kind of food they eating, and how the difference food, have difference consequence on the environment, they are teaching kids through the schools, how the change of our food habits can help us, and the environment in a only positive way. Farm and fork is one of the first really big companies, with a contract to a supermarket, there have taken the job of trying to change the youth unhealthy food habit. One of the biggest problems we have in the new world is fatness, it's a growing problem in many countries, example in USA where almost half of the population is chubby, it's also becoming a problem in UK and Denmark, and its only a growing problem, there are still countries where over half of the population don't even have enough money to provide for their family, and in some countries a normal family throws out more food than a poor family eat in a whole year, and that is just some of the many things Farm to fork could help with. Fatness has no positive effects on our body, if you eat fat food over a long time it can lead to diabetes, and other diseases, a lot of them a involving our heart, and as you probably know is the heart one of the most importing organs in our body. I like the idea of the internet chat they provide to some of the places our food is made and picket.its make it easier for normal people like me there don't have the money to travel to a another county every time we wanted to know where our food comes from, and how it's made. There is also a downside about it and that's the company can choose only to show you the good sides of the corporation, and that can trick you into thinking that example "Banana Joe" is a good company, and when you think is a good company are they are using child workers without you knowing, and that is just one off the downsides. But I don't think that the responsibility lays with the corporations, I think a lot of the responsibility lays with the individual human, no matter how much the difference companies tries to change our food habits, it doesn't have any effect as long as the individual don't want to. A lot of people gets too far out before they realize that they has become too sick of all the unhealthy food before they do anything about it.
