In the novel “The great Gatsby” which was writing by F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1925 is a realistic story about the main characters that we follow throughout the story, it’s about a man called Nick and his experiences with life in general. It’s about everything he went through while he was living in East egg. He met this man called Gatsby, while he was living there. Gatsby were a very mysterious person, no one knew a lot about him but one thing that we did know, was that Gatsby had a lot of things to accomplish, one of the biggest things that Gatsby was trying to reach was this Green light he saw from his house every night, just about sundown. But what was the meaning with this light? What does it represent? How does he achieve it?

For a long time, Nick questioned the meaning of the green light. He didn’t understand it, but the big secret was that the green light was a symbol of Daisy, the one and only girl he ever wanted but lost when he went for war. In the beginning, the green light was very small almost invisible. Which matched perfectly with the situation between Daisy and Gatsby. The green light was the target, it was the dream of getting Daisy back. Every time, Gatsby got closer to the green light, it got brighter and it also got closer to Gatsby.
