Explanation: The reason I choose apartheid was because it was interesting and I had to

The apartheid was in south Africa from 1950 to 1993. When the National party won in 1948 everything got race related and separated.

Under the apartheid humans was classified in race groups the most know was black, white, coloured and The Asians.

They got separated from each other with power out from these race groups. Most of the black citizens got sent to their homelands.

The land got excluded from FN’s general meeting in 1974 and the security council passed in 1977 a binding arms embargo against south Africa. Also, the countries in EF/EU completed comprehensive measures against the apartheid regime.

The combination of the white races growing fear for a violent revolution and the press from the outside world got in the end of the 1980 the government to start a settlement of the normal policy.

After president de Klerk's opening speech in the Parliament in February 1990, civil society organizations became legal and the most important apartheid laws got abolished.

The government, political parties and groupings negotiated the introduction of a new non-racial constitution, and the parliamentary and presidential elections in April 1994, when the ANC (African national congress) leader Nelson Mandela became South Africa's first black president, it marked the final abolition of apartheid.
