Los Angeles: by, kultur og forskelle

I have chosen the topic Los Angeles. I think that the skyline of Los Angeles city is incredibly beautiful because of their many tall buildings, beautiful Architecture and the mountains behind. I also think, that Los Angeles is very difference in proportion to Denmark, because of the many cultures and the difference between rich and poor people.

The city is often known by the acronym L.A. With a population of 3,8 million in 2010, is Los Angeles the second largest city in the Unites States straight after New York City. L.A. is also the most populous city in California. The city is divided in more than 80 districts and neighbourhoods, which is very different from Denmark. In Denmark we didn’t have districts but big and small cities. Generally Los Angeles is divided into the following areas for example: Downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Northeast Los Angeles, South Los Angeles and so on. That is why they have so many difference cultures in American.

Los Angeles is often branded as the “Creative Capital of the World,” due to the fact that one in every six of its residents works in a creative industry. There are more artists, filmmakers, actors, dancers and musicians living and working in Los Angeles than any other city at any time in the history.
