Air pollution: DK's most expensive environmental problem “The most important Danish sources of air pollution with fine particles are the burning of wood, farmers and cars. Particle emissions from the burning of wood, ammonia emissions from agriculture, and road traffic particles account for about 80 per cent. of the health injuries related to air pollution from Danish sources Stoves stand for approx. 80 pct. of tar substances, 65 pct. of the fine particles, 60 pct. of the soot particles and 60 pct. of dioxins emitted in Denmark.
