Stone cold is about a young boy called Link. He was in trouble at home because of his stepfather, that’s why he chose to go to London. As new as Link was in London, Link tried to find himself a job, but didn’t have much luck. One-day Link met Ginger, who he befriended. They begged on the streets together and shared everything with each other. One-night Ginger didn’t come back to Link. Link was worried for Ginger and went looking for him. Link met someone, who said that Ginger had gone with a man, that had said, that there was something that happened to Link. The man that had taken Ginger was Shelter, a man that had already killed many homeless people. Toya a friend of Ginger, told Link to just move on because maybe Ginger had found a job or a better place to be. On a café Link met Gale, that he fell in love with. Finally, Link felt like a normal boy. Link and Gale lived together for several months and everything was great.

Link discovers that Shelter also has taken Toya. This frustrated Link, he investigated this further, with spying on Shelter outside of Shelters house. Shelter sees Link and offers Link a jacket but when Link gets inside of Shelters house, he is trapped. Shelter puts Link inside a hole in the floor with all the dead bodies and tries to kill Link, but the police came before anything serious happened to Link. Gale was not the one she said she was, she was a journalist who was looking for a story in the homeless people and had called the police. Link felt that Gale had deceived him and decided to leave.
