Analytical essay on Robert Swindell's 'Stone Cold'

This story "Stone Cold" covers this boy who chooses to run away. You don't know about this boy's real name, but simply that he's called Link. At the beginning of the story, Link lives with his mother and his stepfather. Link has nothing against his mother, but can't stand his stepfather, which causes Link to decide to run away. First in the story, Link lives with his mother and his stepfather. Link decides to go to London to try to find a job and a new home. Unfortunately, it does not go as expected for Link, because when he finds a place, he is staying the rent for his new home is too high. But it's not the only thing that didn't succeed for Link.

Shelter is a former military man who has lost his mind and is going to kill homeless people and goes after killing Link. But Link is being rescued by Gail because he was an undercover reporter.
