Analyse af filmen 'Titanic'

A 101-year-old woman named Rose tells a story about her life from April 10th to April 15th, 1912, on a ship called Titanic.

The young Rose boards the ship with her mother, Ruth, and her fiancé, Caledon. Meanwhile, Jack and his best friend win third-class tickets to the ship in a card game.

On the first night on the titanic, Rose tries to commit suicide by jumping overboard. But the nice 3rd class passenger, Jack, prevents her from jumping. That's why her fiancé, Caledon, invites Jack to a 1st class dinner with them.

At the dinner, Rose and Jack falls deeply in love even though they're from different classes and Rose is forced into a marriage with Caledon.

Meanwhile, the titanic ship is getting into a dangerous area and then hits an iceberg. Eventually, the ship sank in about 2 and a half hours.

But already, at that time her fiancé, Caledon, had already found out, that Rose and Jack had feelings for each other.

So Caledon chains Jack in a room in the basement, but the young Rose saved him.

Because of this, they didn't make it into one of the lifeboats and had to wait in the water.
