Throughout the human life on earth, there has always been discrimination; people looked down upon because we thought that just because they looked different or were acting differently from us, they also should be treated differently, and in the most horrible ways possible. This has gotten way more serious over the ages, and today, the world is trying to open up for its eyes, people who have been hiding in the shadows of our society, standing up for themselves, looking for peace and equal rights. The real answer has always been, or at least that’s why I think, that we have to fight and stand together as one, look away from our differences, because we are all humans, we’re all one of the same kind, and every human deserves their freedom and their equal rights.

The civil rights. Even though the last American slaves were freed in 1865, their freedom wasn’t really enough. They still had their problems to face, as the white people in America, especially in the southern states – had to get used to having black people around them. There was still discrimination and laws were made against them – for example a black person should give up their seat for a white person in a bus if they were to ask, and even separate toilets were made for the black and white people! Today, those kind of laws are prohibited in America, and you could say that the black people of America has granted their freedom. This is late though, and I know that people were thinking differently back then, but it was never okay, and it never will be.
