Now, what could we do? I immediately thought that we were doomed, but at the same time, we were not because we were together. But again, who from the main land would see us over such a distance? Although we were stranded at a prison with such history, and glory I was happy because I wasn’t alone I had my sister with me. Quite frankly she has always been there for me in the time of need. I was afraid, suddenly tears dropped from my eyes, I couldn’t find my sister, Louisa. I went looking for her, but she was nowhere to be found. All the sudden, I could hear a far cry, in the distance, the voice did not sound very familiar it was quite muffled. I was struggling to determine the origin of the mysterious voice. I thought it came from outside. I could feel the fresh breeze of the bay however it felt very unpleasant, as I could not share this fresh breeze with my sister. I unexpectedly heard the mysterious voice again, but this time it was different, the voice I could hear was not muffled it was clear, and it was the voice of my beloved sister. she sat near the tower and waved her hands like a monkey who had just seen a truck full of bananas. I rushed to the tower and questioned her childish act. I yelled, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU DUMB SKANK, DO YOU THINK THIS IS FUN!?” It became dead silent for a brief moment, I just realised that I called my sister a skank. In our family, we never swore, what kind of human would call a family member skank? Me apparently. Louisa slapped me in the face. I’m sorry I said. The night settled, and it was getting cold. I tried apologising for the profanity that I had committed but my apology was not accepted, and my sister told me not to talk to her ever again. What now, I thought that I had lost my beloved sister forever, and indeed I had. Louisa slowly walked towards the edge of the island, I wondered why? her eyes gazed upon the cold waters of San Francisco Bay. I wanted her to step back, but she was devastated. she yelled across the island” I am a skank John you do not want a skank to come back!” We did not have the luxury of sleep that night due to the horrible events that would never fade from memory. The next morning, I saw a signal indicator on my phone. I phoned 911 without a doubt and explained our situation. The police immediately sent a rescue-team all we had to do now was wait. A few minutes later, I heard a splash. I thought that the splash was my sister drowning. Maybe it was because she seemed so depressed over the episode that happened yesterday, but luckily it was just a rock. Shortly after the splash my sister said to me” Hey John only one of us is going to leave this island alive!” I told her to stop with these kinds of jokes, I turned around and out of eyes, I saw my sister jumping. Fast I turned around and….
