Return from Alcatraz

The last tourist boat just sailed off in the sunset. My sister and I started to freak out. We both knew, we were screwed. I retried and attempted several times to connect my phone to the internet, but no help. I couldn’t stand the thought of me being alone on an island with an abandoned prison close to me. I rather rest in a haunted house than being forced to sleep in a prison. I know I couldn’t enter the prison, but if we broke in, me and my sister. Nah that would be a stupid idea. Even though, it is criminal. You could get punished hard for trespassing a closed prison.

My sister and I tried to find some food or a supermarket, but you know, it is hopeless. The only thing you can find on this stupid island, is an old haunted prison, some trees and a big tank of water which surrounds you all the time. We walked down a little alley between some old houses, I saw an old man sitting on a bench. He wore a straw-hat and owned a little dog which felt a little uncomfortable when we tried to reach out our hand. It must have had a tough life. The old man was really quiet; however, the dog was barking at my sister. She never teased it or try frighten it. I was trying to ask why the old man was sitting outside on the dark street. It was pretty cold; no streetlights were on. The whole city was black and dark. He responded very weak, like he was suffering. I think he was injured, and needed to get to the hospital. Finally, it came to my mind, why the dog was barking when we tried to pet it or even touch the old man. It was simply protecting its owner from any strangers. We tried to convince the poor man that he needed to go a hospital. But of course, there were no hospitals at the island we could visit. There is a doctor though. But the man told us he lived far away from here. But we wanted to help him. So, we found his car, which was parked in his garage nearby. We drove out of the little town of Alcatraz and out to the wild lands, where there was a little village. It wasn’t that far away; my sister was driving. Therefore, it didn’t take that long time.
