One of the biggest threats towards the music and film industry is people downloading content from the internet. But what consequences does this have for the creators of the content and for the people downloading it.

Nowadays people can easily get their hands-on movies and music on the internet, it has gotten so easy that even a few days after a movie has been released you can just google “Watch free” and you will immediately find a website where you can watch it. It’s a problem that we can all relate to. If we can watch a good movie for free, then why should we pay almost $10 for watching it in a theater?

But if it is so easy to watch the movies for free then why don’t we all just do it? It’s risky to watch movies online, you can either get a computer virus or you can be sued for a ridicules amount of money. On the websites where you watch the movies you can viruses. And some of these viruses are very dangerous and a bit scary. Some of these viruses can easily get past our firewall and destroy our computers completely, either by erasing our entire hard disk or they can spy on us through the webcam.
