Bend it like Beckham is a heartfelt film. It is a film about, racist traditions and love. and how the younger generation address this while trying to fit into the modern, multi-cultural world.
It is about a girl from Indian named Jasmin-dah, her nickname is Jess. Jess has a big dream of be a professional football player and play on the greatest team, but that dream can not come true because she is Indian, and that means she can not do what she wants because of her traditional parents. But everything change when she meets Jules. It is produced by Gurinder Chadha in 2002.
18-years old Jess is a girl with a big dream to be a world-know football-player. But the thing is that she is from an India-family, and girls from India can not play football, show her legs to the nation, or marry a man that isn't from India.
Bend it like Beckham is about the differences in religions and in family traditions. It is an inspiring film about real life. It isn't a very creative film, it has the same message as others, but it is inspiring in another way, it makes you think if it is like that in reality.
