Immigration in Denmark Immigration in Denmark is a huge topic with many opinions, both positive and negative. In Denmark today there is much turmoil in the politics around immigration and what we do. One can ask themselves the question: is it even a problem? Many would say yes without really thinking about the topic thoroughly, and perhaps it is the problem with attitudes in Denmark. Before you get prejudices of others could instead consider the issue and turn it from the positive side instead. Today, refugees in Denmark as never before, several studies show that this figure rises dramatically each year. We are one of the best countries - if not the best - in terms of welfare, as Denmark is of course an obvious country to escape to. We have the welfare of Denmark that everybody gets a helping hand financially. The refugees come with very different backgrounds, some come from a country ravaged by war and torture, and others are perhaps fleeing the military regime at home. We must think about how hard many have had it and how it has affected them psychologically and physically. As I said, we are one of the countries which are best in terms of welfare, why not help other people?, Helping them to a better life with the possibility of training so they can help to contribute and maintain the welfare of Denmark has. Obviously, there is also the part of immigrants who are on the wrong side of the law or acted improperly in many situations. They need help and support in school and during leisure time so they do not go and get the wrong friends and perceptions. They may have been difficult as children, lost close people or been educated in a completely different way. Now Denmark will not be a gift day for immigrants, but there should be free access for those wishing to contribute to society. in Danish politics is a huge topic discussed, with different views. Danish People's Party which is known for its tough policy on integration is a clear example to start the debate on migration. They believe that we are crowded with refugees and must be even harder than we are now. As I said, is immigration a huge issue with many positions, and perhaps we will never solve the problem. We must work harder and be clear in Danish politics. It is a debate which must find an answer to that is good for everyone. The only question is, will the answers and what would it be?
