Michael Brown, a black eighteen-year-old teenager was fatally shot by the white police officer Darren Wilson on August 9th, 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri. The shooting created protests that roiled the town for weeks. 10 minutes before the shooting, Michael Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson stole some cigarillos from “Ferguson market and liquor” which the video cameras show. The police officer shows up alone in his vehicle, and without actually knowing that it is Michael Brown – but only that he fits the description, of a suspect in a convenience store theft - he blocks the two men, as well as the traffic. Several witnesses reported that they have seen a fight between the police officer in the S.U.V and Michael Brown who was standing outside the S.U.V. From here the police officer fires two shots on Michael brown from inside the vehicle, where one was missing and the other grazing Michael Browns thumb. Michael runs, and officer Wilson pursues him on feet, and this is here the officer shoots the unarmed black teenager dead, while the kid was on his knees with his hands up.
This intriguing and controversial topic was not only headlines in the United States, but it also reached worldwide attention. Because, this is about racism.
