Consequences for Ferguson after the killing of an innocent black man

Many black boys are killed by white police officers. Sometimes the blacks have not even done anything wrong. Blacks protest repeatedly even if it does not help much. But when the protests happen there is just going to be even more violence in the streets. But what is the cause of the riots and can you build a better relationship between the black people and the police?

The text is about Ferguson in general and what caused the Ferguson riots. The biggest reason the riot in Ferguson happened is the killing of young black man Michael Brown. But lately there had also been deaths of several other unarmed black men by the police. All the black people in town are angry and sorry that this is happening and that's perfectly understood. According to the Census Bureau 1“The once predominantly white suburb now is 65 percent black. Poverty afflicts 22 percent of residents, twice as many as in 2000” It shows that the white people in city have to get used to the fact that there are more black people in the city than whites. But besides there are many of the blacks, many of them are also poor. Ferguson’s story isn’t uncommon in the United States it is a common thing in America. The New York Police Department is using the controversial stop-and-frisk practice which is a what the police use to stop even more black and Latino people even in mixed and especially in predominantly white communities. If they want to make a better community, they need to stop doing things like that. The New York police department is using it even that a report has shown this: 2“Blacks and Latinos are treated more harshly than whites, being more likely to be arrested instead of given a summons when compared to white people accused of the same crimes and are also more likely to have force used against them by police.” And that's all wrong. The intensified police presence in poor black communities fosters this negative association in residents from a young age. And that's something they need to change if they want a better relationship between blacks and the police.
