In the United States is it legal to buy just the gun you want. 92 procent of the population is an owner of a weapon and only 8 procent do not own one. In Denmark we have not a great opportunity to buy a weapon there is only 11 procent who has one and 89 procent who don´t have one. It is also why there are far more school shootings in the USA than in Denmark.
The school shooting you hear most about is Columbine High School. It took place on the 20th of April 1999 at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. Two senior students entered the school armed with several guns, killed 12 fellow students, and afterwards killed themselves.
The reason why some commits school shootings can be something with their culture to do. If they grew up in a violent culture may well have influenced them to commit school shootings.
The reason may be if they go with someone who has bad influence on them. If them from their circle of friends does something, then it may be that they feel compelled to do the same.
Some may also have taken drugs and therefore have become more violent and have done it. I think the most common reason for someone commits school shootings is because they have been bullied, and therefore feel out of the community. If it has gone on for several years, the person it has gone beyond and they got enough and therefore will retaliate to kill someone.
