The movie ‘48 Christmas Wishes’ was made in 2017 and directed by Marco Deufemia. The movie is 84 minutes long and it is a family friendly fantasy comedie. The movie is about a elf named Mindy who work at the mail post in Santa's workshop. One day 48 of Santa’s letters accidentally burns up. Mindy and one other elf decides goes to the human world and ask the humas what they wish for so they can get all the wishes back to Santa. In the human world they meet a boy named Blake. Blake has a sister and a mom, his dad died when he was just two years old. Ever since Blake’s dad died, his big sister didn’t seem to want to take much part in the family. Mindy, Blake and the other elf finds all 47 wishes but they still miss one, they find out it was Blake’s mom how wrote the last letter to Santa and that she only wanted for her family to be happy again. The two elves manage to fulfill Blake’s mom’s wish before christmas eve, and the christmas spirit is on 100% The main character in the film it Mindy. You follow her through almost the entire film. In the beginning of the film she is mad because she was sent to work in the post office and not in the builders workshop. But through the film she learns that she is also good at making people’s wishes come through. The second most important character is Blake, he is the human you follow the most in the movie. He goes from not remembering much about his father, to getting a letter he wrote to him just before he died, and getting told stories about him. An other really important character in the film, is Blake’s mother she is the human how wrote the last letter to Santa. She is also important because she is Blake’s mother and keeps an eye out for him. I think the film was okay but it would probably have been a lot better if it had had a higher budget. I give this movie stars***. I would have liked the film better if the actors and the green screen had been better. Overall I think it is an all right movie to watch with your family especially if you have younger siblings.
