Cyberbullying is a very big problem. Cyberbullying is a form of the normal bullying except it’s happening online. Cyberbullying can be done on cell phones, computers etc. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else.
If you get cyberbullied its important to document the message or the photo so you can report it to the social media site.
Cyberbullying can have very bad consequences, like depression, self-harming etc.
If a kid doesn’t have the best self-confidence or is not mental stable, then cyberbullying hits extra hard. And can even have worse consequences like suicidal thoughts or in worst cases suicide.
The differences between physical bullying and cyberbullying is for example if someone posts a nude of you everybody can see it, even your parents, and everybody can spread it. But in physical bullying its only the bullies that knows what is going on.
The real problem is that its also much more difficult to put an end to. Because the bully also can make fake profiles so you can be anonymous while doing it.
