Hello My Gap Year!
My name is [NAVN A], I’m 19 years old, and I’m from London, England in Europe. I have just finished advanced level school, and now I’m ready to explore the world. I’m a very adventurous girl who’s very dedicated on exploring the big and very wonderful world. I’ve always wanted to help people that need help desperately. From when I was younger, I’ve always tried seeing others first, before getting to cut up in my own material. I think that’s a gift that I really want to express so I can help as much as possible. I want to make a difference in our world and especially our generation.
I’m contacting you because I want to apply for my dream gap year. I truly dream of going volunteering in India. I hunger to do volunteer work with children and the communities in India. Despite rapid economic growth, a large portion of India’s population remain impoverished and in need of basic human supplies. A huge amount of the population has limited access to housing and clean water, yet everyday many people in India must face severe public health challenges, not to mention issues with women’s rights and education. I want to volunteer in India to help the underprivileged population gain access to better education, better healthcare, human rights and infrastructure. I would like to visit the places where they need me the most because that is where I can do the most.
