The reason why I chose this topic is that I think this is one of the most extreme examples of human right violations, where innocent people had their houses burned down and maybe even shot or burned alive, the only reason being that they were different than others. I also think that this topic has a connection to some of the other topics, primarily the topics about Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, the KKK or Apartheid.
The main points of this topic is that some people, most well known, the African-American have had very bad living conditions, for example, the African-American people in the late 1800s and way into the 1900s received a worse service at restaurants and such, and some innocents were even targeted down and killed, just because they were black and someone didn’t think they fit into the American society.
My opinion on the topic is that everyone should be able to live a great life, no matter if they are black, white, Muslim, Christian or whatever. Maybe in some cases, one type of human doesn’t fit in a specific environment, but if they can adjust their behaviour to the society they are trying to be a part of, then they should also be able to live freely without fear.
