My special event was when I visited Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix in 2018. It was special to me because it was my first time seeing a race in real life, and because I was there with my dad and my Brother.
My dad could get us FTZ VIP pass for free, when I was hungry, I could get all the food I want for free and when I was thirsty I could get all the water or soda I could drink, and for the adults there was free beer. Oh, and at the entrance for the VIP was Jason Watt’s 1 of 1 2018 Ford GT with hand controls, properly the most special and unique road car at the event.
The smell of racecars, and the sound of big natural aspirated v8’s screaming through the streets of Copenhagen was amazing. The flames we could see from the exhaust at the first corner down the straight, and being at the VIP platform, that’s not every day you can do that.
My favorite part was the parade on Sunday with a Bugatti Veyron in a gold wrap and nothing more than the 2018 Le Mans GTEPRO winner and his car, the Porsche 911 RSR GTE. It was the loudest car of the hole weekend and he wasn’t even flooring it, because it was the last time it drove before it went to the Porsche museum. A true once in a lifetime experience.
