Martin Luther King was a African-american, he was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta Georgia, where Martin Luther also grew up, with his brother, sister and parrents. Martin grow up in a home where they belived that white and blaks should have the same rights. As a kid, Martins’ best friend was a white boy, at the time when they reached school age, Martins best freind got into a school, for white children only, and Martin got into a school for black children only. And after that Martin and his white friend never played together any more.
When Martin got into Collage, he wanted to follow his fathers foodsteps, and become a minister. Martin was also inspired by the work to make a peacefull revolution. It were also in collage Martin met a young woman called Coretta Scott, who became his wife in 1954.
Martins’ involvement with the civil rights movement began with the arrest of Mrs. Rosa Parks on December 1st, 1955. Martin and the other African-American community leaders felt a protest was neded. They tried to boycott the bus company by walking and driving instead. The U.S. Surpreme Court would end the boycott, which lasted 381 days.
