we can see that it is a Inverted and romantic story.

we get a lot of clues( when Dennis find some )

The protagonist also falls in love, with selina one of the antagonist.

Begins in medias res.

Starts in the middle of the story “Most evenings, Dennis Henshall took his work home with him” (P 1, L 1)

there is flashforwards used in the story.

That is when Dennis started stalking Ms. Selina, she is Blaine’s wife.
