My fellow Americans, I’m here today, grateful and humble, as I stand here before you all, with the trust you all have given me. I would like to thank my lovely wife who stood by me all this time and supported me ever since we met and Jill is an amazing mom - a military mom, who has dedicated her whole life to teaching, she’s going to be an amazing first lady. Our first fantastic black woman vice president Kamala Harris, whom I will be honored to be working with. And of course, I would absolutely love to say thank you to each and every one of you who supported me throughout his battle. I couldn’t have done this without you. We have built an amazing campaign together, with one of the most diverse coalitions in history.
This election is what many Americans have been waiting for, and I have been working very hard for, as well as my amazing team, to achieve. And as a proud American, I believe that change needs to happen before this country will be great again. And for those who have voted for President Trump, I understand your disappointment, but I want you to know that I want us to cooperate and function, after all, I’ll be gone in 4 years’ time, if not 8! I ran as a democrat, but it should be known, that I will run as an American president. I will work for those who supported me, and for those who didn’t.
