I choose this topic becuase I found it quit Fascinating what Mandela did for the black people and that it didn’t break him when he went to jail.
Nelson Rolihlala Mandela was born on the 18. July 1918. he received many honors
For eksample, the nobel piece price in 1993. He died at an age of 95 in 2013, after a long time where he was sick. He got buried in Qunu. to his funeral there were about 4500 invited guests, there were also quite a few media people. Mandela got married 3 times in total, some relationships longer than others. He also got 6 children, 4 of them with his first wife Evelyn Ntoko Mase. Since his death, his family has strongly disagreed with the legacy he left.
When Mandela's father was deprived of his title as tribal chief, his family moved to Qunu because Mandela's mother had some family there. When Mandela was seven years old, he started school. Mandela's father died of tuberculosis when Mandela was 9 years old. At the age of 16, he began at Clarkebury Boarding School. There he learned about Western culture. He got an exam in 2 years, where you usually get that in 3 years. After that Mandela switched to another school at the age of 19. At that school, he became interested in boxing and running. After that he went to university, where he trained as a lawyer.
