The movie is about Chris Gardner and his family who is living in San Francisco. Chris is a smart man who is fighting and chasing for happiness and money so he can protect and take care of his wife, Linda and his son, Christopher. Chris wants to be a successful seller. But it’s limited.

Chris is selling some bone densely scanners to a hospital but for a while he didn’t sell that much, and his wife left him because she wanted money and she could get a better job in New York City. And Chris didn’t have more of those bone densely scanners so he could get money.

Now Chris was alone with Christopher. He gets thrown out of his apartment because he owed the tenant so much money. And Chris didn’t have money enough to pay. Still, he throws himself out to complete an unpaid education as a broker. Where he in a competition with twenty other candidates, but only one could get the position in the company afterwards.

He shows up every day in his suit while he tries to protect his son. They had slept in the bus, at bus stations and in public restrooms. If they were lucky, they could get a room at a hostel for homeless. Without letting that affect on his son when Chris was focusing on his dream to become true.
