The main character is a man, and his name is Chris Gardner and he who plays Chris Gardner is called Will Smith. As a child Chris Gardner did well in school, he always follows the lessons and got good grades. When Chris Gardner grew up, he married Linda they had a child together and his name was Christopher.

Chris spent his money making a new kind of X-ray scanner. at first it seemed like a good idea with the X-ray scanners, but it was not a good idea they were too expensive for the doctors to buy them, and Linda had to work double time.

At some point Linda comes home and tells Chris Garder that she does not want to be with him because he cannot sell the X-ray scanners so he cannot get any money and she will not work for long so she will leave Chris Garder and take Christopher with, but Chris wants to keep so he starts yelling and saying he wants Christopher.

Linda still takes Christopher and Chris tries to find Linda and Christopher so he can keep Chris, Chris finds Linda and Christopher and he talks to Linda and takes Christopher home.

Chris and Christopher come home and sleep but the next day he tries to sell the X-ray scanners there is still no one who wants to buy them but later he finds someone who wants to buy the X-ray scanner, but it does not work so he must fix it before the doctor will buy it.
