I have chosen this topic because I find it very interesting that a small 3. world country can overpower an imperium like USA, I have also chosen this because I have been to Vietnam and I have seen some of the tactics they had to use. Therefore, I have great respect for Vietnam and its people.

The Vietnam war was a war between Vietcong (north Vietnam) and south Vietnam it lasted 20 years from 1955 to 1975. North Vietnam was led by communist Ho Chi Minh and had the support from china and Soviet Union. Two communist countries. South Vietnam was a capitalist republic and was led by Ngo Dinh Diem, they had the support from USA, who wished to eliminate all communism in the world.
