Skoleskyderier i USA: årsager og Columbine-massakren

I chose “school shootings” as my topic, because I think it’s a really interesting topic to discuss and it’s really relevant because it’s becoming such a huge problem in America, since 2013 there has been over 200 school shootings in America and I would like to know, what’s going on inside a criminal mind, and why they do what they do.

A kid can easily bring their parents gun to school or buy it by them self, if they want to show it off, or want to threat a kid who maybe have bullied them over a long period, or someone could take the gun from the kid and kill people. So therefor we cant blame the parents, for being attentive

Another reason why school shootings happen is that many copies other school shootings, like columbine for an example. And therefor they hope that they will get some attention by doing it.

The gun law was made in one thousand nine hundred and seventy-one and they make the law so the Americans could protect them self by the Englishmen, Spaniards and Frenchmen, but also Indians.

Columbine

was a school massacre that took place on Tuesday, April 20, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine at Columbine High School in Jefferson County in the US state of Colorado. Two students from the school, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot and killed twelve other students and one teacher, while another 24 were injured. The shooting started at lunchtime while most of the students stayed in the school canteen. Still, no one was killed in the canteen as most people managed to escape when the actions started outside the school. 10 minutes before the shooting began, Harris and Klebold had placed two propane bombs in the canteen; they had to leave by 11:17 when the canteen would be filled. Harris and Klebold would then stand at the exits and shoot those fleeing from the bombs. The bombs did not go off, so Harris and Klebold chose to go to school and shoot. Most of the victims were killed in the school library. Immediately after the killings, both Harris and Klebold committed suicide in the school's library. There were a total of 13 dead people.
