The story unfolds right after the recent divorce between our main character Gib and his wife Jayleigh. Amid the divorce their old house was sold and with it a lot of old stuff was also hauled away. One of the things that was thrown away was their daughters’ doll. Gib decides that he needs to try and find this doll for his daughter and uses a lot of time at the local landfill.
