Karakteristik af Duncan og Annie i 'Juliet, Naked'

Duncan is a big fan of Tucker Crowe and this is shown in this quotation from the novel, “If you love Tucker Crowe as much as Duncan and a couple of thousand other people in the world do, that toilet has a lot to answer for”(Page 12, line 27-29). This tells us that Duncan is a big fan of Tucker Crowe. Duncan and Annie has this weird relationship to each other and this is shown in this quotation from the novel, “Sometimes Annie felt less like a girlfriend than a school chum who’d come to visit in the holidays and stayed for the next twenty years” (page 17, lines 10-12). This tells us that Annie dose not fell they are marriage, and more like they are friends. Duncan moved to the same English seaside town as Annie to finish his thesis. We can see this is shown in this quotation from the novel, “They had both moved to the same English seaside town at around the same time, Duncan to finish his thesis and Annie to teach” (Page 17, line 12-14). This tells us that they both moved to the same seaside town around the same time, and Duncan moved to finish his thesis.
