Children have their own rights. Rights that must be respected, so that children are not psychologically and physically destroyed. Rights, such as schooling, free time, protection, rights to a good start on their life. But children are still working for companies under bad conditions and environments!

Child labour is when children under eighteen is working for a company. Many of the children is much younger than eighteen and don’t go to school. Child labour is seen very often, especially in the poor countries. Many people are against child labour because they think it’s a bad thing. The children are working under very bad conditions and doesn’t get much in pay. They are also exposed to dangerous smoke, which can destroy their organs and lungs, and lead to diseases. In addition to that, the children can also get an injury at work due to lift of heavy objectives or other things, which can make them unable to work in the future. In some companies, children are even beaten if they don’t do their jobs correctly.

Recently the company Victoria Secret has received a lot of criticism and bad eyes from people all around in the world. Victoria Secret buys almost all the cotton produced by Burkina Faso, and recently it came out that children are working for Burkina Faso. The children are working hard on the cotton fields in 34-39 degrees! [NAVN A], a girl who worked at Burkina Faso, talked about how the owner has beaten her, shouted at her and that she wasn’t getting enough food.
