Børnearbejde og forældreløse børn i Lesotho

Nr 1: The chilldren have to work ,because they don´t have parent who can feed them. The children have lost there parents to AIDS.

So the children are on there own and they have to take care of themselves.

The children is working, instead of going to school.

The childrenswork is,drawing water, it is hard work, but they have to do that, and later they are paid in food for their services.

Nr2: The children move over to there uncle, but it was not a uncle, who wants to care for them.

He was out most of the time to drink with his friends and when he came home drunk, he abused the

Children and beat them.

Nr3: One of the rules they live under at their uncles was, that they were forbidden to eat unless there uncle were there.

One day they were hungry and they began to eat and that time the uncle were not at home.

Later when the uncle found out, he beat them.

Nr4: The children live under the Red Cross, where they are protected and feeted by them.

It was a person who works for red cross who reported to the local chief about the abusive uncle and red cross took the children from him and suicide him for what he had done aganist the children.
