The short story is about a boy, who has a prediction that someone will die this summer. The boy often spends time with a rebellious boy, called Noel. Noel manipulates the boy in many different ways and makes him do some really stupid actions. Their friendship consists primary on spying on the neighbors, especially Mrs. Walsh, from the Walsh-family, which is the only Catholic family in their estate, in Northern Ireland. Two kids, Phillip, and Kim, at the respectively ages of 3 and 4 years, mystically disappears. When some period of time passed, it became more serious and suddenly everyone started searching, and a lot of theories revolved around. But in the end the kids finally come back, and this situation has now a big influence on this whole community's future and practice.

Almost everyone knows the feeling of not fitting into a certain community. It could be a friend group, a family or even a culture. No matter which relation it is connected to, is one thing sure. It isn't enjoyable. The short story "That Summer" By Safia Moore, is published in 2015, but takes place under the conflict between Catholics and Protestants in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Also named as "The Troubles". Here is the feeling of loneliness and subdues well described.
