When Starr and Khalil left the party together, they were pulled over by a police officer. Khalil, who was driving, was asked to step out of the car. The situation escalates when Khalil reaches into the car to check on Starr, and the officer, mistaking a hairbrush for a gun and shot Khalil, so he died.
